The liner notes bespeak that this is the simply surviving petit-opéra by Desmarest, although the CMBV edition is marked volume 1. He equanimous others at the courtroom of Philip Five and in Lorraine, all of which apparently take been lost. This is a truly outstanding opera, functioning and recording.
